Folksy Handmade Love.

I have put my curator hat on to enter Folksy's Valentines competition themed Handmade Love. 

I had to choose 18 Folksy goodies on this theme. 

Under the theme of Handmade Love, my personal choice of items for this collection was inspired on the book  Love Letters of Great Men.

Brocoli soup and orange cake.

So I am sewing machine less at the moment, and I guess that can be a good thing, as that forces me  to focus on other projects I need to get on with.
I still feel a bit lost without my magic stitching machine... So I have made some orange cake to make my tea breaks a bit sweeter. It might not look very pretty all iced up and perfect but it certainly has the taste of fresh citrus summer.

It has been so cold that I found this broccoli soup really warms you up inside. I also added some stilton I had left and it made all nice and creamy.

Love is in the air.

So everything seems to be getting heart shaped everywhere, so I decided to do a project I have had on the back of my mind for ages now. I am really pleased on how it turned out.

I  love this old script fabric because I always imagine that it was taken from an old love letter written to someone a long time ago. And even though I can't really read what it says (I've tried) it still reminds me of a love letter, so I thought I just had to do something with it related to LOVE.

New Year, finally post on the blog!

Hello,
My name is Monica, from Lunartis.
I have had this blog for a while and I also had another one before, but never actually did anything with either of them...
I have tried a few times.
I have posted and deleted posts...
BUT, as it is the new year, I decided that one of my (many) resolutions would be to post on the blog regularly and stick with it!
Not just eventually get a bit embarrassed to be talking about me or what I am doing and worrying about what people thinks about it and just keep going instead of quitting!
So there, I said it, and now is official and it would be even worse to go back now, so I guess I'll just have to do it!
